Michael Tawiah (born 1 December 1990 in Accra, Ghana) is a Ghanaian footballer. He typically plays as a defensive midfielder.

In June 2008, he relocated to Bulgaria, signing a contract with Lokomotiv Mezdra. In his first season in Mezdra, he played for reserve squad of the team. Tawiah's first official match was against Slavia Sofia on 15 August 2009. He entered as a substitution in the 55 minute. For Lokomotiv, he earned 10 appearances playing in the A PFG, scored one goal.
On 28 January 2010, Tawiah was bought by Levski Sofia. He signed a 2,5-years contract. Tawiah eventually debuted for Levski on 16 May 2010 in Levski's final match for 2009/10 season against OFC Sliven 2000.
On 11 August 2009, Tawiah made his debut for Ghana U-20 in a friendly match against Bulgaria U21.
